Barrister Mobeen Rana

Mobeen Rana’s practice concentrates on corporate, commercial, banking and finance, petroleum and energy, intellectual property, shipping and maritime, real estate and telecommunication laws. He regularly advises and represents clients on complex high value commercial transactions.

He has advised some of the largest multi-national corporations including World Bank Group, Qatar Petroleum, Jamshoru Joint Venture Limited, Reuters, Johnson Controls, International Industries, US Denim Mills, IGI Insurance, Standard Chartered Bank, China National Heavy Machinery Corporation etc.

He worked with the World Bank Group based in Washington DC, USA for their Doing Business Project in Pakistan and other leading law firms. He is a member of the Bar of England & Wales, American Bar Association, American Society of International Law, Punjab Bar Council and Lahore High Court Bar Association. He is also a Member Conference Committee of London Liberal Democrats. He is the recipient of the prestigious National Talent Scholarship awarded by the Government of Pakistan.

Mobeen Rana is a Barrister-at-Law of Lincolns Inn, London and law graduate with LL.B (Hons) from University of London. He later earned his postgraduate qualification in law PGDL from City University London.

Justice (Retired) Munir A Sheikh

Munir A Sheikh is a Justice (Retired) from the Supreme Court of Pakistan whose practice is focused on dispute resolution in cases involving corporate, commercial, finance, intellectual property, petroleum and energy and telecommunication laws. Prior to his elevation as a Judge he acted as a counsel in significant high profile cases. He regularly serves on the panel of arbitrators and acts as an expert arbitration counsel for various domestic and international arbitrations.

After his retirement, Munir A. Sheikh continued to maintain a distinguished track record. In 2008, he was appointed as a Federal Tax Ombudsman. Later in 2010 he was appointed as a Chairman, Antidumping Appellate Tribunal. He also served as a Chairman Board of Copyrights constituted under Intellectual Property Laws.

Munir A Sheikh passed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) examination from Punjab University Lahore . Mr. Munir A. Sheikh is a member of Supreme Court Bar Association, Punjab Bar Council and Lahore High Court Bar Association.

Mohammad Younis specializes in cases pertaining to corporate, commercial, banking and company laws with emphasis on the filing and approvals from regulatory bodies including Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Competition Commission of Pakistan and Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan.

Afifa Butt is an Advocate High Court and specializez in energy, power projects and oil & gas exploration and prodution projects. She assists partners in matter relating to foreign investments, merges & acquisitions, joint ventures, compitition and project financing. She is a consultant with our firm.

Madiha Asim areas of practice include intellectual property, shipping and maritine and aviation. She assists Partners in legal research and drafting of commercial documents. She passed her undergraduate (BA (Hons) with majors in law, psychology, politics) and later obtained her postgraduate qualification (M. Phil) from Kinnaird College Lahore.
